Vit Granite Ltd (“we”, “us”) makes the Vitstone app. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and your rights. We’re the data controller for your information under UK data protection law (UK GDPR).
Vit Granite Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17536699. Registered office: 48 Redwing Close, Bicester, OX26 6SR. Contact: hello@vitgranite.co.uk
Account details: your email address and password, used to create and secure your account. Passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication, and we never see them.
Your progress: which day of the challenge you’re on, when you last completed a day, and whether you’ve unlocked the full challenge.
Your journal entries: the reflections you write in the app, with the day and date they were written.
Purchases: if you unlock Days 8–21, the payment is processed by Google Play. We don’t receive or store your card details.
We use your information only to run the app: to let you sign in, save your progress and journal, and give you access to what you’ve unlocked. Our legal basis is that this is necessary to provide the service you’ve asked for. We don’t sell your data, we don’t show ads, and we don’t use your information for marketing.
Your journal entries are private. They may include personal reflections about your wellbeing, so we treat them with extra care. We don’t read them except where it’s necessary to help with a support request you’ve made, fix a technical problem, or comply with the law.
Your data is stored using Google Firebase, provided by Google. Google may process data outside the UK, and it does so under safeguards approved by UK law. Data is encrypted while it’s being sent and while it’s stored.
We keep your information for as long as you have an account. If you delete your account, your account details, progress, and journal entries are permanently deleted.
You can delete your account at any time in the app. If you can’t access the app, you can ask us to delete it using our Delete Account page
You have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, receive a copy of it, and object to how we use it. To use any of these rights, email hello@vitgranite.co.uk. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Vitstone is intended for people aged 18 and over.
Vitstone supports general wellbeing. It’s not a substitute for medical or mental health advice. If you’re struggling, please speak to your GP or a qualified professional.
If we update this policy, we’ll change the date at the top and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
